The Oak Frame Building Company is based in West Oxfordshire specialising in the design and construction of traditional and contemporary oak frame buildings, including restoration, conservation and repair. With sixteen years experience we have worked on a variety of projects. Included here is a selection of examples of our work. We deliberately remain a small family run company, enabling us to focus on quality and value, with the aim of providing clients with individual attention and paying attention to detail.

Generally a job is taken from inception to completion of the oak frame, working in conjunction with either architects and builders of your choice or ones we are able to recommend. Fabrication of the frame in our yard by traditional methods and using time honoured pegged mortice & tenons, scarfs etc. normally takes between two to eight weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the building. Once complete it is taken to site and erected within a few days (again depending on size) ready for enveloping and finishing.
